Thanks to your fantastic support last year we were able to offer 17 more brilliant young people a Sixth Form Prince Albert Foundation Scholarship. This year’s Giving Week will take place between 13th-18th October and many Wellington families have asked whether they can pledge their support in advance. To this end all money pledged and donated from now until 18th October will be included in the final total. While the Prince Albert Foundation (PAF) remains at the heart of our widening access mission – transforming lives through fully funded, 110% scholarships – this year we also recognise that widening access takes many forms. Alongside PAF, the Queen Victoria Foundation (QVF) offers significant bursary support to talented students whose families might otherwise be unable to consider or continue a Wellington education. At a time when many families are facing increasing financial pressures, including the impact of VAT on school fees, some parents may wish to direct their support towards these areas—helping ensure that no young person has to leave, or miss out on, a Wellington education due to financial hardship.
